About the Street Kids Gift Book

Youth find themselves on the street for many reasons. Most have fled or been forced out of homes where they’ve suffered abuse or neglect. These youth often leave home as young as age 15.

Many street kids struggle with mental health issues that are often caused by their experiences. About one-third of our youth currently suffer from mental health issues.

No kid plans to live on the street. Most youth run away because they don’t know where to go for help.

Covenant House offers youth 24/7 crisis care, as well as services such as health care, education, counselling and employment assistance. We provide the services and support kids need to move from a life on the street to a life with a future.
